Our 2010 Shakespeare on the Rock production, A Midsummer Night's Dream, presented in conjunction with the Massasoit Theatre Company. This year's production is our first "non-traditional" presentation - Shakespeare's original story, language and plot set not in Elizabethan times, but in a 1970's 'Studio 54'-style nightclub. Costumes, set, lights, music & dancing will set the tone for this lighthearted romp through one of the most beloved comedies of all time.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be presented for two weekends at Pilgrim Memorial Park on the historic Plymouth waterfront, right next to the Plymouth Rock.
Friday and Saturday evening performances will be July 30th &31st and August 6th & 7th at 8 pm, with two Sunday evening performances on August 1st &8th at 7 pm. Because of the outdoor setting, all performances are weather-dependent.
